Career Switching + Finding your Flow & Alignment w/Habiba Koroma

We can either look at situations and think, why did this happen to us, or we can have the mindset of, why did this happen for us. This chat is a true testimony of what is possible when you never give up
-
We are very excited for this studio chat with Habiba Koroma!
-
It is all about how she switched careers and her journey finding flow + alignment!
-
Let me tell you, throughout the chat I found myself admiring Habiba even more and more. From boarding school, to communications major, to interning at MTV, to London, to corporate philanthropies, these moments were all just pieces of Habiba's evolving story!
-
She shared with us how all of those events plus more happened in order for her to find clarity & figure out what she really wanted to do with her life. This is how she found design.
-
Habiba is native New Yorker, she has great energy, is a mom to Miles & has a diverse range of experience! Starting out with her BS in Communications from New York University, her Masters in Public Administration/Nonprofit Management from NYU Wagner, she then shifted and completed her AAS, Interior Design from the Parsons School of Design - The New School. With close to 10 years experience, she is a principal at Biba K Design & also a venue Interior Design Manager at Great Performances.
-
This one is full of insight and wisdom on how even through the toughest of times, she came out on the other end shining. Cannot wait to keep watching you shine, Habiba!
-
And we cannot wait to see you in the chat! Drop an emoji representing your Thursday vibe + tag a studio friend who could use some good energy in their lives today!
-
As always, we are in this together one redline at a time & "don't discount your past" ✨
